How do I create a listing?
Sign up, verify your email, then click the "Sell" button in the navigation bar. Fill in the details about your scale model, upload photos, and your listing will be live immediately.
How do I contact a seller?
On any listing page, click "Send Message" to start a conversation with the seller. You'll need to be logged in. You can also call the seller directly if they've provided a phone number.
How does payment work?
MODELTRADES does not handle payments. Buyers and sellers arrange payment between themselves. We recommend meeting in person for local transactions or using secure payment methods for shipped items.
Can I edit my listing after posting?
Yes. Go to "My Listings" from the navigation menu, find your listing, and click "Edit". You can update all details including photos.
How do I mark a listing as sold?
Go to "My Listings" and click "Mark as Sold" next to the listing. The listing will remain visible with a SOLD badge but will be removed from search results.
How do I delete my listing?
Go to "My Listings" and click "Delete" next to the listing you want to remove. This action cannot be undone.
I didn't receive the verification email.
Check your spam/junk folder. The email comes from our system and may take a few minutes to arrive. If you still don't see it, try registering again with the same email.
How do I reset my password?
Click "Login", then "Forgot password?". Enter your email address and we'll send you a reset link that's valid for 1 hour.
