Meeting in Person

Meet in a public, well-lit location. Bring a friend if possible. Inspect the item thoroughly before paying. Don't share your home address with strangers.

Payment

Use secure payment methods. Avoid sending money via wire transfer to strangers. For shipped items, consider using payment methods with buyer protection. Never pay in advance without some form of guarantee.

Spotting Scams

Be cautious of prices that seem too good to be true. Watch for sellers who pressure you to pay quickly or use unusual payment methods. Verify photos aren't stolen from other listings or websites.

Protecting Your Account

Use a strong, unique password. Never share your login credentials. Log out on shared devices. If you notice suspicious activity, change your password immediately.

Communicating Safely

Keep conversations on the platform so there's a record. Be wary of users who want to immediately move to other messaging apps. Don't share personal information like your ID or financial details.
